We work as a co-operative, enabling us to run the shop as a social enterprise and giving us access to each other’s skills and knowledge on everything from equipment and techniques to suppliers and local history.
Some of us have been friends for years but it isn’t intentional that we are all female – it’s just the way it has worked out so far.
We aim to make the cooperative open and inclusive and welcome new members, so long as they work predominantly with British wool and they bring something new and different to our range.
