Members: Cecilia Hewett
Cecilia is a spinner of fine yarns, for embroidery and weaving as well as knitting, and she also designs and writes crochet and knitting patterns. She joined The Wool Clip in 2005 and works with fellow member, Jan Hicks on creating yarns and kits using fleece from local Bluefaced Leicester sheep.
Cecilia has been the driver behind several successful fundraising activities, including the crafted sheep auctions at the annual Woolfest which have raised over £2000 for Farm Africa. With June Hall, Cecilia founded Cumbria's first Knitting Café at Bluebell Bookshop in Penrith.
