Members: Christine Crofts
Christine designs and makes textile art from her home and studio in Matterdale. Her tufted rugs use local Herdwick and Swaledale wool, in natural and hand-dyed colours, and her hangings often feature familiar Cumbrian landscapes as well as more abstract designs. Chris was a founder member of The Wool Clip and she is also an active member of the Blue Tarn group of Cumbria-based artists who exhibit all over the county.
