Ema Allcock is a passionate crocheter and ‘aquirer’ of things – fabrics and yarns - other people no longer use. She was first taught to crochet as a young child by her great grandmother and has a natural artists eye for design. After years of crocheting for pleasure Ema realised that she needed an outlet for her products and skills and so ‘Hooked in Time’ was born in 2014. She joined the Woolclip in 2016.
Ema will crochet with a variety of re-cycled fabrics, various wools, string even discarded carrier bags, to produce beautiful rugs, bags, blankets, slippers, scarves and much more. She has even provided a crocheted bodice for a 21st century wedding gown. She also relishes passing on her skills through a variety of short crochet courses catering for all levels of ability. Ema now offers her own patterns and a number of crochet kits designed by herself.
Ema is happy to take on commissions and run courses for interested parties.
