Members: Marion Rae
Marion joined The Wool Clip early in 2009 and her range of hand-made felt products includes bags and scarves plus she also makes hand-woven rugs. Based in Wigton near Carlisle, Marion was first introduced to wool crafts when her Mum taught her to knit aged six.
She was introduced to felting while completing an art and design access course in Carlisle and she incorporated felted materials into her final pieces. After a gap of some years, she returned to felting a few years ago and enjoys experimenting with different techniques to create a range of effects and finishes.
