Pam moved to her family farm, Fornside in St John’s in the Vale near Keswick in 1997 and she was a founder member of The Wool Clip. Herdwick wool is a particular interest – she has a flock of 150 Herdwick ewes plus a small number of rare breeds. Using wool from her own sheep she makes rugs, bags and felted items. She also works with Mary Bell as Helvellyn Herwicks to use wool from local Herdwicks to produce hand-woven rugs, throws and cushions.
