Pam Hall

Pam moved to her family farm, Fornside, in St John’s in the Vale in 1997 and is a founder member of the Wool Clip. She has a flock of Herdwick sheep and also keeps a small flock of Shetlands, Gotlands and Ryelands.

Her particular interest is in weaving and felt making using the fleece and yarns from her own sheep. Taking her inspiration from the wonderful landscape of Cumbria she uses her wool in natural shades and hand dyed to produce a range of textiles including such things as rugs, table runners, bags, cushions, iPad cases etc.

Pam also collaborates with Mary Bell as Helvellyn Herdwicks producing a range of rugs and throws woven at Farfield Mill in Sedbergh.
