Virginia's love of knitting – and her admiration of Woolfest – led her to join the Wool Clip in 2009. Her Ena and Peggy handknits are named in honour of her great aunts, two resourceful Scottish working women who taught Virginia how to knit, play cards, sing at the piano and laugh. The range of baby’s and children’s clothes is designed and made in various natural fibres – some, like silk and bamboo, especially comfortable for sensitive skins – and her designs reflect Virginia’s enjoyment of colour, pattern and texture.
