Birthday designs go on sale
The Wool Clip celebrates ten years of successful trading in September 2011 and four members - Marion Woolcott, Rebecca Selfridge, Jean Wildish and Ellie Rowell - have created special designs to mark the occasion.
Marion's Decadence kit uses an unusual hemp/alpaca blend yarn to make a knitted jacket in ten pieces while Rebecca's Indulgence lace knitted stole or scarf uses ten different stitches. Jean's shawl clips use native woods and create their own number 10 while Ellie's needle felted sheep (in kit form) sports an obvious 10 shepherd's mark.
"We wanted to mark the birthday year with a selection of items that show off the range of skills in the co-operative as well as the versatility of wool," says Marion.
