Wool Clip members are recovering from the busiest, biggest and, according to the feedback, best Woolfest ever.
Held at Mitchell's Lakeland Livestock Centre in Cockermouth at the end of June (24/25 June), the seventh Woolfest attracted more than 5000 visitors as well as 140 stallholders from across the UK, Europe and beyond.
"Woolfest is a huge event in our year," said Marion Woolcott of the Wool Clip, "but also an excellent reflection of our aims of adding value to British wool and promoting the best of traditional and contemporary wool crafts."
Dates for next year's Woolfest have also been fixed at Friday 22 and Saturday 23 June 2012. For further information and updates, please sign up for the Woolfest e-newsletter.
