Four members of The Wool Clip, Emma, Jean, Alice and Debbie, feature in one of the large drawings that make up the Women's Work exhibition at Acorn Bank until 27 November.

The exhibition is part of the Trust New Art initiative and has emerged from a three-month residency by artist, Freya Pocklington, as the second Dorothy Una Ratcliffe Artist Fellow at the National Trust property near Temple Sowerby in Cumbria.

"We laughed a lot when we met Freya for the sitting," said Alice Underwood, who also features with her rare breed sheep in a second drawing, "and the preview event was great fun too.  It was fascinating to meet some of the other women featured in Freya's work - and we all have landscape, animals and rural issues in common."
