Two Wool Clip members, Jan Beadle and Emma Redfern, are cooperating on a unique workshop.

Based at The Eden Workshop, the two-day course starts with a day of weaving with Jan to create tweed cloth and each participant then spends the following day with Emma, making a wooden-handled clutch bag with their tweed.

"Both Emma and Jan have run separate workshops here in the past," says Jane Farkins, who owns The Eden Workshop, "and it struck me that there was an opportunity to do something different if they worked together.  When I realised that they were both members of The Wool Clip cooperative, that joint working became very easy indeed.  We've had six weavers and makers at the first course and have another one coming up that is fully booked too."
