Our Caldbeck Shop
Our shop is in Priest’s Mill in the lovely village of Caldbeck. There is parking alongside the mill and The Wool Clip is clearly signposted from the road to Hesket Newmarket. We started out in a small unit in 2001, across the courtyard from the current shop. We then expanded to double the size before moving into the current unit in 2009. Finally, we extended around the corner in 2012 and now have as much floor space as possible to showcase our work and welcome visitors.
Opening Times: Open until 4pm on Thursday 23rd then closed for Christmas on 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th December 2021. After Christmas, we are open for four days, including 31st December, from 11am to 4pm.
From 1st January 2022, the Caldbeck shop will be closed for our winter break until Saturday 12 February.
OUR ONLINE SHOP WILL BE OPEN THROUGHOUT APART FROM THE CHRISTMAS BREAK.
We’re proud to celebrate the heritage of Priest’s Mill and inside the shop there is a display of artefacts from its days as a water-powered mill, first for corn and then as a sawmill. Please ask whichever one of us is on duty in the shop if you’d like to find out more, as we have local history materials available to browse.
