Our Caldbeck Shop
Our shop is in Priest’s Mill in the lovely village of Caldbeck. There is parking alongside the mill and The Wool Clip is clearly signposted from the road to Hesket Newmarket.
We started out in a small unit in 2001, across the courtyard from the current shop. We then expanded to double the size before moving into the current unit in 2009. Finally, we extended around the corner in 2012 and now have as much floor space as possible to showcase our work and welcome visitors.
Opening Times: Tuesday to Sunday each week plus Bank Holiday Mondays, 11.00am to 4.00pm each day.
Please note that the shop will close for Christmas at 4.00pm on Friday 23rd December, re-opening (weather permitting) on Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th and Friday 30th December. We will be closed on Saturday 31st December and New Year's Day, but open on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd January before closing for our winter break until mid-February.
OUR ONLINE SHOP IS OPEN 24/7 ALTHOUGH RESPONSES TO ENQUIRIES AND DISPATCH OF ORDERS RELIES ON SOMEONE SOURCING ITEMS FROM THE "REAL" SHOP.

We’re proud to celebrate the heritage of Priest’s Mill and inside the shop there is a display of artefacts from its days as a water-powered mill, first for corn and then as a sawmill. Please ask whichever one of us is on duty in the shop if you’d like to find out more, as we have local history materials available to browse.
