Shipping Information
For UK addresses, postal charges are calculated automatically through checkout. Parcels are usually sent 'Tracked 24’ through Royal Mail, without the need for a signature.
For non-UK orders, please first contact The Wool Clip to find out the correct overseas postage charge. Please note that any import taxes, where charged, are the responsibility of the purchaser. Unfortunately we are no longer able to send to countries within the EU or to Northern Ireland, due to the EU’s General Product Safety Regulation, 2024.
These rugs are made by hand felting the reverse of whole or part fleeces, once the sheep are shorn. This particular rug is from a rare breed Teeswater sheep in Paula's own flock and has maximum dimensions of 59 x 110cm. It is ideal for use as a seat pad with a kitchen or garden bench. Other breeds and sizes are available - contact the shop for details.
All are made with 100% pure wool, so if you get bored with them, or you decide to change your look, they are fully bio degradable - just pop them in your compost bin and wait a while. Or cut them up and put them round your plants to suppress weeds, or give protection in the colder months.
To give them a refresh - don't put them in the washing machine! even on a wool cycle, fill a large sink or even the bath for large rugs, wash them fluff down in a handful of shampoo, spin them in your machine and pop over the line on a sunny day-then give them a good shake! Or spray with warm water and a little white vinegar and again pop them out on a sunny day.
