This small sized ladies' sweater was inspired by the Northern Lights seen here in Cumbria and has been hand knitted with 100% wool. The garment measures 94 cm (37") around the chest and has a back length of 64 cm.  This can be worn as outerwear instead of a jacket.  Just pop over a couple of under-layers.  Yes, wool is waterproof - Inger has worn a similar sweater in 2 hours of pouring rain, and was still dry underneath!

As for washing, the simple answer is that there is no need - just hang out on the washing line for a couple of hours to air.  But if you must wash, then soak gently in a hand hot water, leaving until the water becomes cold.  Rinse in cool water and use just a gentle short spin cycle, then hang out to dry on a warm summer's day - ideally flat if possible.  What's not to love about such easy care for your special garment?!

This unique round-necked sweater is 100% British lambswool, design and production.  It has been individually hand dyed by Tailors Ink.  Hand wash only, using a mild detergent or 2-in-1 shampoo, and dry flat.  It is a size L (40" chest) with a back length of 26" (66 cm)

This poncho has been wet felted with locks from British Leicester Longwool and Bluefaced Leicester sheep and then viscose fibres added for the backing. Just look at the wonderful variations of natural (undyed) colours with such a wonderful sheen!  Each piece is shaped by hand and instinct. The finished poncho measures 100 x 56 cm.

Care instructions: Dry cleaning. Hot steam iron.

This pure wool wrap, handwoven in West Yorkshire, has been creatively hand dyed by Jean.  It measures 70 x 190 cm.

Handwashable using a mild detergent or 2-in-1 shampoo.  Dry flat.
